Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Apotheosis Church website and related memberships, donations, purchases, communications, and online services. By using these services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Purpose and appropriate use

Our services support religious education, worship, reflection, community, and charitable activity. You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, impersonate another person, violate law, or use Church content or community spaces to harm others.

Accounts and membership

You are responsible for accurate account information and for protecting your access credentials. Free and paid membership benefits may change as programs develop. We may suspend or terminate access for fraud, abuse, unlawful conduct, material violations of these Terms, or conduct that threatens the safety or integrity of the community.

Recurring subscriptions

Paid memberships renew automatically at the price and interval shown at checkout until canceled. Stripe processes subscription payments. You may cancel future renewals through the customer portal linked from the Members page. Cancellation stops future charges but does not ordinarily refund a completed billing period unless required by law or expressly approved by Apotheosis Church.

Complimentary and promotional access

Complimentary or promotional codes may be limited, modified, or revoked when expired, transferred without permission, obtained through misuse, or used inconsistently with their stated purpose. Such codes have no cash value.

Donations

Donations are voluntary and support the Church’s religious and charitable mission. Unless a specific restriction is accepted in writing, donations may be used where most needed in furtherance of the mission. Tax treatment depends on applicable law and individual circumstances; donors should consult their own tax advisers and retain any receipt provided.

Purchases and refunds

Prices, shipping terms, and product details are shown when offered. Except where law requires otherwise, digital materials and donations are generally nonrefundable. Requests concerning duplicate charges, damaged or missing goods, or exceptional circumstances should be sent promptly through the contact page and will be reviewed fairly.

Religious and educational content

Church content expresses religious, philosophical, and educational perspectives. It is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other licensed professional advice and is not a substitute for qualified professional care.

Intellectual property

The website, Book of Apotheosis materials, logos, artwork, text, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Apotheosis Church and are protected by applicable law. Personal, noncommercial reading and sharing of website links is permitted. Reproduction, sale, modification, or commercial use requires written permission unless law provides otherwise.

Disclaimers and limitation

Services are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Apotheosis Church disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the services. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes, governing law, and contact

We may update these Terms by posting a revised effective date. California law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
